Tempesta Gallery è lieta di annunciare “Through Invisible Walls”, bi-personale degli artisti Anna-Lena Krause e Viktor Petrov. La mostra inaugurerà il 25 settembre 2025 presso la galleria in Foro Buonaparte 68, Milano. Gli artisti saranno presenti.
L’esposizione mette in dialogo due ricerche artistiche che indagano i dispositivi, visibili e invisibili, attraverso cui il potere modella lo spazio, la percezione e le relazioni interpersonali.
Nel lavoro di Viktor Petrov (Pleven, 1991; vive e lavora a Berlino), le infrastrutture e gli oggetti funzionali – come scudi antisommossa, elementi architettonici modernisti e superfici industriali – si trasformano in dispositivi critici che rivelano le ideologie sottese alla produzione dello spazio. Le sue opere, concepite come micro-architetture, interrogano la costruzione come atto politico e mostrano come ogni forma, anche apparentemente neutra, porti con sé idee di ordine e disciplina.
La ricerca di Anna-Lena Krause (Berlino; vive e lavora a Londra) si sviluppa invece tra scultura, performance e strumenti digitali quali 3D scanning e intelligenza artificiale. La sua pratica esplora le dimensioni immateriali del potere – memoria, affetto, percezione – per mostrare come esse vengano costantemente ridefinite in un’epoca di connessioni smaterializzate.
Il confronto tra Petrov e Krause evidenzia la crescente porosità tra architetture materiali e costruzioni immateriali: se il primo lavora su strutture che determinano accesso, visibilità e movimento, la seconda esplora quelle che modellano la presenza e le relazioni. Insieme, i due artisti offrono uno sguardo critico sullo spazio e sul corpo come luoghi di negoziazione politica e culturale.

Tempesta Gallery is pleased to present “Through Invisible Walls”, a two-person show by Anna-Lena Krause and Viktor Petrov. The exhibition will open on September 25, 2025 at the gallery in Foro Buonaparte 68, Milan. The artists will be present.
The exhibition brings together two artistic practices that explore the visible and invisible mechanisms through which power shapes space, perception, and interpersonal relations.
In the work of Viktor Petrov (Pleven, 1991; lives and works in Berlin), infrastructures and functional objects – such as riot shields, modernist façades, and industrial surfaces – are transformed into critical devices that expose the ideological frameworks embedded in spatial production. Conceived as micro-architectures, his works interrogate construction as a political act and reveal how even the most seemingly neutral forms carry within them ideas of order and discipline.
Anna-Lena Krause (Berlin; lives and works in London) operates across sculpture, performance, and digital tools such as 3D scanning and artificial intelligence. Her practice explores the immaterial dimensions of power – memory, affection, perception – to show how they are continuously reshaped in an increasingly dematerialized age of connectivity.
The dialogue between Petrov and Krause highlights the porous boundaries between material architectures and immaterial constructs: while the former addresses the structures that define access, visibility, and movement, the latter investigates those that shape presence and relations. Together, they offer a critical perspective on space and the body as contested sites of political and cultural negotiation.
