Registration is underway for the 30th edition of the Yokohama International Performing Arts Meeting 2025 (YPAM2025), set to take place from November 28 to December 14, 2025. As part of this multifaceted platform, YPAM Fringe, an open-call festival, is calling artists and companies worldwide to register and present their bold, experimental contemporary performances across Kanagawa Prefecture this winter, with a deadline of August 31 (Sunday), 17:00 JST (UTC+9).
In parallel, registration is also open for YPAM Exchange, YPAM’s professional networking program, until October 17 (Friday), 17:00 JST (UTC+9). Designed to promote international exchange, the program invites participants to propose their own topics and take the lead in facilitating meetings, presentations, and studio demonstrations, creating space for organic, peer-led dialogue.
Held annually in Yokohama, Japan’s largest city neighboring Tokyo, YPAM is one of Asia’s most influential international platforms for contemporary performing arts. Each edition brings together artists, producers, curators and presenters from Japan and around the world for two dynamic weeks of performances, networking and exchange. An early bird registration discount is currently available for industry professionals until September 30, 2025, providing full access to exclusive networking events and meeting programs.
