Fondazione Effetto Arte, based in Italy, has long been dedicated to promoting artistic value on the international stage and fostering creative potential. Through multifaceted curatorial support, art criticism, professional publishing, and an extensive global network, the Foundation has created a pathway for artists to develop internationally. This year, the Foundation is honored to be one of the official participating institutions at the 2025 edition of World Art Dubai, actively promoting the exchange and integration of contemporary art in a cross-cultural context.
As one of the key exhibiting organizations at the fair, Fondazione Effetto Arte proudly presents representative works by 21 Chinese artists, including Chen Jianping, Liu Fengqi, Sun Yue, Tong Heshuo, Chen Shuozi, Dan Chengmin, Guan Lixia, Ji Lihua, Jiang Yongyan, Jin Xiaoyan, Li Chengxi, Li Meiling, Liu Yating, Song Daoming, Sun Xuming, Sun Yaqing, Yan Chengbin, Yang Zhen, Zhang Yan, Zhuang Mengdie, and Zou Mingyu. Their works encompass a wide array of styles and subjects-ranging from easel painting and contemporary composition to abstract expression and symbolic imagery-collectively showcasing the creativity and distinct spiritual dimension of Chinese contemporary art in the global context.
This exhibition is more than just a visual showcase; it represents a profound cultural exchange. Participating artists engaged in direct dialogue with art critics, curators, collectors, and representatives of art institutions from around the world. Through international exposure, live interactions, and professional feedback, they expanded their artistic perspectives and elevated their international presence.
To recognize outstanding contributions during the fair, the Foundation established the “Premio Maestri a Dubai” (Dubai Art Prize), aimed at identifying artists with strong international potential and supporting their continued growth in the global art market. The 21 Chinese artists are competing for this prestigious honor alongside exceptional talents from around the world.
As the largest contemporary art fair in the Middle East, World Art Dubai brings together over 400 galleries and independent artists from more than 65 countries, and attracts more than 11,000 visitors, collectors, art critics, and investors. The fair serves not only as a vital platform for art transactions, but also as a significant barometer of global artistic trends. At this international convergence of innovation, avant-garde vision, and multiculturalism, the joint appearance of Fondazione Effetto Arte and the Chinese artists marks a more inclusive and forward-looking model of cultural dialogue—offering greater opportunities for Chinese contemporary art to flourish on the world stage.
