From 5 September to 9 October 2022, the Italian artist PZ.Artist will present a truly unique experience, setting up an exhibition of her artworks in an Augmented Reality Pavilion at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence.

Twenty-five artworks will come to life in front of visitors’ eyes, in an exhibition itinerary consisting of five virtual rooms, accessible through the ‘Artinside Experience‘ app – conceived and developed by Artebinaria – which can be downloaded free of charge on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

Going to the most famous viewpoint of Florence, visitors will be able to admire the paintings and preparatory drawings of PZ.Artist, as if they were hanging on the invisible walls of five imaginary rooms, which do not hide the surrounding environment: on the contrary, the spectacular panorama of Florence will give rise to an unprecedented dialogue between the artworks, visitors and the environment, arousing unique and unrepeatable emotions in visitors.

Through the exhibition in Augmented Reality, the artist wish

to give everyone the opportunity to live an exciting immersive experience, unthinkable until a few years ago, made possible today through one of the most advanced technologies: Augmented Reality.

PZ.Artist has decided to no longer exhibit in traditional art galleries, as the artist has decided to display his creations exclusively in Augmented Reality, through the app “Artinside Experience”, created by Artebinaria, and based on the platform ‘Artinside Gallery’: the first art gallery without walls, in Augmented Reality.

The exhibition at Piazzale Michelangelo is the first stop on the Italian artist’s Augmented Reality exhibition tour: the the artist’s artworks will come to life in Paris, Sydney, London and finally New York, in other imaginary pavilions.

Art historian and art director of Artebinaria, PZ.Artist is an eclectic visual artist, who uses different expressive codes and languages, moving from painting to digital graphics, from designing video-mapping performances to setting up Augmented Reality art exhibitions. Through her own art, PZ.Artist explores colour as a source, from which emotions flow; the artist searches for the truth hidden in happiness and pain; she aspires to find the deep essence and primary meanings, extracting them from the noisy chaos of life and opening up new dialogues between visual art, electronic music and new technologies.

In PZ.Artist’s artworks, the figurative element is represented through one or more idealized characters, always depicted as slender and long-limbed, who are often blown by a gentle, vibrant breeze.
Some of her paintings have been chosen as covers art for the electronic music albums of composer and producer Boxedge.

The fragrances and essences of life, which PZ.Artist has hidden in her artworks, are designed to be discovered by sensitive souls, able to detect and revive the moments of wonder that the artist has consciously crystallized within her paintings
